The summer days are spreading across Texas County. The green fields and dark forests are soaking up the sun and hoping for a little rain. The crops are laid by; hay is in the barn. The days have come for a little family time with the neighbors at Boot, Scoot BANG! Partners for the biggest summer event this year include local insurance agencies, looking out for the interests and needs of their neighbors, Justin Shelby with State Farm Insurance and David Keeney with Shelter Insurance. The events will be at the Texas County Fair Grounds at Houston, Missouri.
Boot, Scoot BANG, produced by Media Professionals, Inc. and the staff at Big Country 99.3 FM radio is a two day celebration of Summer 2012 beginning on June 21 with a fun carnival. That’s a pattern for good times in the neighborhood. Those good times continue through the day on Friday, June 22. Around 5:30 pm, the gates to the concert area at the Texas County Fair Grounds will open for the audience at the evening performances. First, regional Country/Rock favorites, One for the Road open the show after being chosen in a little contest at Big Country 99’s Facebook page. After One for the Road, the audience will enjoy a live performance by CMA star Joe Diffie who brings a country and bluegrass music program.
For the best of the BANG, immediately after the Joe Diffie concert, a special fireworks show will close a summer celebration in the Ozarks.
You can avoid a potentially warm chance to stand in line for tickets by pre-ordering your tickets at the Boot, Scoot, BANG secure website. Ten dollars gets a seat in the stands, while for a $15 ticket you can bring your lawn chair and get as close to the stage as you like to enjoy the performance.
